Dean Spiller to Lead Academic Affairs at Nebraska

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln today (Dec. 11) named Elizabeth Spiller, dean of the 51�� College of Letters and Science since 2017, to be Nebraska’s executive vice chancellor for Academic Affairs starting in March. Nebraska Chancellor Ronnie Green announced the appointment, which is subject to approval by the university’s Board of Regents.

Interim Chancellor Ralph J. Hexter today (Feb. 2) named Elizabeth Spiller as dean of the College of Letters and Science, fulfilling one of the key recommendations from the May 2015 final report of the Work Group on the Reorganization of L&S. Spiller will begin her tenure as dean on March 6.
